AT&T Savings for Military Veterans & Families
AT&T supports our military, veterans and their families with exclusive savings on wireless, TV and internet with the VetRewards Card.
AT&T is a major employer of veterans. They aim to hire 20,000 veterans over the next several years, and provides online resources to help veterans throughout the recruitment process at AT&T.
AT&T has been a Veterans Advantage military verification partner since 2018.
AT&T Honors You With Monthly Savings on Wireless Plans
As a current or former member of the U.S. Armed Forces enrolled in VetRewards, you can get started today with AT&T’s new military and veteran discount on its wireless plans, for less than $27 per month when you buy or get 4 lines.
Note: This rate includes AT&T 25% OFF wireless plans. You will need to sign up for autopay and a paperless bill to get this discount. Your taxes and fees will be extra and not included in the discount. This rate is an upgrade from the previous 15 percent military discount. Please be aware that data speeds may slow when the network is busy.
If you are an active-duty military or a military veteran, you can get the military discount on AT&T wireless plan services above. The requirement is that you must be a current or former serviceperson, guard, or reservist to be eligible for AT&T military discounts. As for family members, only spouses or widows of U.S. military service personnel are eligible, not veteran spouses or other veteran or military family members.
The AT&T military discount is available Veterans Day, Memorial Day and every day year-round for new or existing AT&T customers, whether you are signing up to be a new wireless customer or are already a current customer.
Your military discount covers the following plans:
- AT&T Unlimited Starter
- AT&T Unlimited Extra
- AT&T Unlimited &More Premium
Extra Features for AT&T Unlimited &More Premium℠ Wireless
You’ll get savings on your monthly rate for your wireless lines that include unlimited talk, text, and data with no overage fees, ever, (AT&T may slow speeds when the network is busy) with the following additional features:
- BYOD and BYOP: If you didn’t buy your device from AT&T, BYOD (bring your own device) or BYOP (bring your own phone) means that you can bring your unlocked, compatible device to AT&T. AT&T will activate a new AT&T plan on your unlocked phone.
- No Annual Contract Requirement: If you BYOD or BYOP, you don’t need to have an annual contract and you can still qualify for military discounts on AT&T Unlimited &More Wireless.
